PROVEN METHODS - Learning

If our experience has taught us one thing it is that each client is unique. Since ReAcct's goal is to tailor our software to each clients specific needs, our first objective is to learn how your company does business. A thorough review of operations and requirements at the start eliminates the need to make revisions as the project progresses. ReAcct systems provides a requirements checklist that helps define each clients specific needs. This checklist, and meetings with reinsurance management and staff, forms the basis for the project plan.

The completion checklist will identify:

All policy issuance and claim systems that will be sources for direct data.

All general ledger and/or data warehouses with which ReAcct will need to interact.

The scope of business to be automated, including:

  • A list of the books of business to be automated and their start and stop dates.

  • All reinsurance agreements to be included, including facultative.

  • All reinsurance companies and brokers with whom you do business.

The location and form (electronic or manual) of reinsurance contract and participation terms.

The location and form of all transactional data to be converted and/or imported.

Any special processing requirements.
